Cross-site scripting via misclassified self-closing tags

Cross-site scripting in golang.org/x/net/html before 0.38.0 allows remote attackers to alter parsed document structure via crafted HTML. The tokenizer treats an unquoted attribute value ending in a solidus as a self-closing tag, causing Parse-family APIs to place following content in the wrong DOM scope. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled HTML; Parse-family effects require foreign content such as SVG or MathML, while direct Tokenizer use can affect any tag.
