Stored XSS in the Maps WordPress plugin 1.0.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via a crafted shortcode. The showmap shortcode handler inserts the attacker-controlled map attribute into generated page markup without validation or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required to save the shortcode, and execution occurs when another user moves the pointer over the rendered map.
