Unauthenticated file deletion via sanitization-order bypass
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
PHP object injection in StellarWP GiveWP 3.19.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete server files through donation-form input. containsSerializedDataRegex checks for serialized content before give_clean strips encoded emoji bytes, turning accepted metadata into a valid serialized object that is later unserialized. No authentication is required; an existing POP chain can delete wp-config.php and enable site takeover and remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=3.19.3 changes=[{"at":"3.19.4","status":"unaffected"}]
