Reflected XSS via unescaped request input
Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated May 11, 2026
Reflected XSS in CodeBard Help Desk 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted request. The plugin reflects request input into an HTML response without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, but public advisories do not identify the affected handler or parameter. Exploitation requires a victim to follow a crafted link or take an equivalent action, causing the script to run in that victim's browser context.
