Missing authorization in Ultimate Dashboard 3.8.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to activate or deactivate plugin modules. The handle_module_actions function processes module-action AJAX requests and changes module state without verifying the caller's capabilities. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the demonstrated impact is limited to changing which plugin modules are enabled.
