Authenticated information disclosure via arbitrary product method
Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in EAN for WooCommerce 5.3.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read restricted product data. The alg_wc_ean_product_function shortcode accepts a method name and invokes any callable zero-argument method on a selected WooCommerce product without checking user capabilities. Contributor-level access is sufficient; methods requiring arguments are unreachable, and no integrity or availability impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=5.3.5 changes=[{"at":"5.4.0","status":"unaffected"}]
