Stored XSS via missing settings nonce validation
Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Listings for Appfolio 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store scripts through plugin settings. The unnamed settings handler accepts forged updates without validating a WordPress nonce and stores attacker-controlled script content. Exploitation requires an administrator to visit attacker-controlled content, after which the stored script executes in later page views.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
