Stored script execution via unsanitized cargo value
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.6 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through a crafted cargo value. The adicionar_cargo.php handler stores the cargo parameter without neutralizing markup, and affected views return the database value without consistently applying HTML escaping. Execution occurs when a user opens a page that renders the saved role, allowing the script to act within that user's browser session.
