Browser script execution via unsanitized socio parameter
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.7 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a user's browser through the socio parameter. The editar_socio.php endpoint places the GET parameter into its HTML response without validating or sanitizing the value. Exploitation requires a victim to load an attacker's crafted request; the resulting script runs in the WeGIA origin and can read accessible data or act with the victim's session.
