CVE-2025-2260Network attack vector

HTTP service disruption via unclosed PUT file

Published Apr 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 14, 2025

Denial of service in Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo before 6.4.3 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt HTTP file requests. The _nx_http_server_put_process path opens a requested file for writing, then returns after a PUT receive timeout without calling fx_file_close. PUT support must be enabled; an oversized Content-Length followed by an incomplete body leaves the shared file object open, causing later file requests to return 404 responses.
