Session hijacking via stored contribution-name script
Published Jan 10, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.8 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in users' browsers through a crafted contribution record. The cadastrarSocio.php endpoint accepts the nome field without validation or sanitization, stores the value, and later places it in page output. No prior privileges are required, but another user must open the affected page; the script can steal session cookies or alter displayed content.
