Authenticated object injection via unvalidated debug import

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

PHP object injection in WC Price History for Omnibus 2.1.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP magic methods. The Import::import_file method reads the serialized key from an uploaded JSON debug file and passes it to maybe_unserialize without validating the object type. Shop Manager access is required, and code execution or data impact additionally depends on a usable POP chain from another installed plugin or theme.
