Unwanted administrator actions via forged requests
Published Jan 7, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Admin Debug WordPress – Enable Debug 1.0.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to trigger unwanted administrator actions. Patchstack does not identify the request handler, missing request-validation operation, or exact administrative action performed with the victim's session. Exploitation requires an authenticated privileged user to visit a crafted page, click a malicious link, or submit an attacker-controlled form; the reported impact is limited to unwanted state changes.
