Missing authorization in GitLab CE/EE before 18.1.5, 18.2.0 through 18.2.4, and 18.3.0 allows remote attackers to read manual CI/CD variables. The GraphQL manualVariables field returns each variable key, value, and environment scope without an independent field-level authorization check. Exposure requires a public project with a manual CI/CD job whose trigger supplied variables; no account is required, and the demonstrated consequence is secret disclosure.
