CVE-2025-22459Network attack vector

Traffic interception via improper certificate-chain validation

Published Apr 8, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2025

Improper certificate validation in Ivanti Endpoint Manager before 2024 SU1 or 2022 SU7 allows remote attackers to intercept limited traffic. The product incorrectly follows a presented certificate chain, trusting traffic when that chain is not anchored to the required root. No account or user interaction is required, but high-complexity network positioning is needed; exposure is limited to intercepted traffic.
