CVE-2025-22419

Call forwarding hijack via unprotected Telephony overlays

Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Tapjacking in Android 13 through 15 allows local users to enable malicious call forwarding through overlaid Telephony settings. Eighteen Telephony settings activities failed to hide non-system overlay windows, allowing deceptive content to cover call-forwarding and related controls. Exploitation requires user-level execution and interaction with the overlaid screen; successful taps can redirect incoming calls.
