CVE-2025-22407

Local information disclosure via freed Bluetooth buffer logging

Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Use-after-free in Android 15's Bluetooth HID stack allows local users to disclose process memory without user interaction. hidd_check_config_done passes hd_cb.pending_data to L2CA_DataWrite, then reads its len field for failure logging after the call can free the buffer. Low-privileged local access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is confidentiality loss rather than code execution.
