Arbitrary file export via path traversal
Published Nov 6, 2025 · Updated Nov 6, 2025
Path traversal in affected Dell iDRAC9 and iDRAC10 firmware allows remote authenticated users to export arbitrary files. Dell identifies the outcome as arbitrary file export but does not disclose the request handler, pathname field, or failed validation operation. High iDRAC privileges and remote management access are required; successful exploitation grants unauthorized file access and compromises the controller.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
