Management access via missing request-handler return
Published Apr 10, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Authentication bypass in Videx CyberAudit-Web 9.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to create authenticated management sessions. DownloadServlet sends an authentication error but continues execution and unconditionally sets the session's manage attribute to true. No credentials or user interaction are required, and the resulting session reaches management endpoints controlling access-system data and functions.
