Authenticated root command execution via time fields
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 1, 2025
OS command injection in MENNEKES Smart / Premium Charging Stations before 2.15 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The manual-time POST handler at /admin/admin_netzwerk passes crafted time fields containing shell metacharacters to the underlying OS without neutralization. Basic authentication is required; successful exploitation grants full control to add, modify, or delete files and services on the station.
