Unauthenticated browser script execution via reflected input
Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Gallery Ape Photo Gallery – Image Gallery by Ape 2.2.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts. The CNA and Patchstack records do not identify the affected request parameter or code path, or explain how input reaches HTML output without neutralization. Exploitation requires no account but does require a user to open a crafted request; scripts then run in the user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
