Credential disclosure via registration notification email
Published Mar 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Information exposure in CyberChimps Responsive Addons for Elementor 1.6.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to steal credentials. The register_user function places submitted usernames and passwords into a registration-notification flow whose email content exposes those values when opened. Contributor-level access is required to configure the Edit Login | Registration Form widget, and disclosure occurs only after another user registers through that widget and opens its success email.
