CVE-2025-22270Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized role names

Published Feb 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 5, 2025

Stored XSS in CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager SaaS 24.7.1 allows remote authenticated users to inject code through a role name. The Role Management tab stores a new role's name without neutralizing HTML or script content before rendering it in the administration interface. Administration-panel access is required; HTML injection works directly, while script execution also requires a Content-Security-Policy bypass and interaction by another user.
