Unauthorized session injection via crafted FGSP packets

Session injection in affected Fortinet FortiOS releases allows remote attackers to add unauthorized firewall sessions via crafted FGSP packets. The FGSP session-synchronization receiver accepts crafted peer packets from endpoints outside the intended channel and imports their session state. Access to a network adjacent to an FGSP synchronization interface is required; successful injection alters firewall session state but does not disclose data or interrupt service.
