Stored XSS via unvalidated title tag
Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Responsive Addons for Elementor 1.6.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through rael_title_tag. The Icon Box widget renderer uses the rael_title_tag value as an HTML element name without adequate sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes when a user opens the affected page, enabling actions in the victim's browser context.
