CVE-2025-22243Network attack vector

Stored XSS via insufficiently validated network settings

Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025

Stored XSS in VMware NSX Manager UI 4.0.x, 4.1.x, and 4.2.x allows remote authenticated users to execute code in a viewer's browser. The Manager UI stores network-setting content without sufficient input validation and later renders it when another user views those settings. Exploitation requires privileges to create or modify network settings and a separate viewer; the injected code runs in that viewer's browser context.
