Administrator database modification via injectable submission filter
Published Mar 5, 2025 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
SQL injection in Convert Forms 1.0.0 through 4.4.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through the backend submissions page. The conversions view accepts crafted filter[form_id] POST values as query predicates, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. Administrator access to Joomla's backend is required; exploitation changes database query behavior, while the published impact assessment reports no data-read or service-interruption impact.
