Administrator SQL injection via unsanitized fieldfor parameter
Published Feb 4, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
SQL injection in JoomSky JS Jobs 1.1.5 through 1.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through GDPR Fields. The gdpr.savegdprfield administrator request accepts an unsanitized fieldfor POST parameter that reaches SQL evaluation, enabling boolean-, error-, and time-based injection. Administrator access to Joomla is required; successful exploitation exposes or modifies application database contents and can interrupt database-backed operations.
