Authenticated checklist modification via improper endpoint authorization
Published Oct 22, 2025 · Updated Oct 22, 2025
Improper authorization in Atlassian Jira Align 11.14.0 through 11.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter private checklists. Private-checklist endpoints accept requests from low-privilege accounts without enforcing the permissions required for the targeted checklist. Network access and a low-privilege account are required; successful exploitation changes the steps of another user's private checklist.
