Account takeover via mismatched SAML identity linking

Improper authentication in Sentry 21.12.0 through 24.12.1 allows remote attackers to take over user accounts through SAML SSO. The handle_unknown_identity helper accepted confirmation from any authenticated session instead of verifying that the session user matched the account being linked. Exploitation requires a malicious SAML identity provider, another organization on the same multi-organization instance, and the victim's email address; single-organization deployments are not affected.
