Authenticated script execution via unescaped group parameter
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Reflected XSS in Microweber 2.0.19 Settings Handler allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted group parameter. The website_group index.php handler assigns the group query value to show_inner and prints it unescaped into a module type attribute. An authenticated victim must open the crafted admin settings URL, allowing attacker-controlled JavaScript to run in that victim's browser context.
