Browser script execution via reflected msg_c input
Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Reflected XSS in WeGIA before 3.2.8 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser through a crafted msg_c value. configuracao_geral.php reflects the msg_c parameter in its HTTP response without validating or sanitizing the value. No authentication is required, but a victim must open the crafted request; script then runs in the WeGIA origin and can read browser-accessible data or act with the victim's session.
