Service interruption via missing trampoline rejection

Improper caller validation in the Linux kernel allows local users to interrupt service through the x86 uretprobe syscall. When no uretprobe trampoline is installed, trampoline_check_ip offsets the negative sentinel address into the low address space instead of rejecting the syscall caller. A low-privileged local process must map executable code at that normally blocked address; the published record does not specify whether interruption occurs as a crash or hang.
