CVE-2025-2193Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file deletion via unchecked path parameters

Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Path traversal in MRCMS 3.1.2 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary website files through the administrative deletion endpoint. FileController.delete concatenates the path and name parameters with the web root, performs no canonical-path containment check, and passes the resulting File directly to delete(). The public proof reports success with an empty cookie, so a reachable endpoint permits deletion of attacker-selected site content without a session.
