Code injection via mismatched-host certificate acceptance
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Improper certificate validation in TECNO Mobile Palm Store 9.1.0 before 9.2.6 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to inject code. The com.transsnet.store client accepts a server certificate that is not associated with the requested host, but TECNO has not disclosed the affected request path or comparison logic. Exploitation requires a network position that permits traffic interception and a mismatched-host certificate; the published consequence is code injection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
