Kernel memory corruption via unmanaged ELP workers

Use-after-free in Linux batman-adv allows local users to corrupt kernel memory and crash hosts during interface teardown. Unmanaged per-neighbor ELP metric work remains queued after a related interface is removed or the module is unloaded, then dereferences freed net_device and batadv_priv objects. Local users with CAP_NET_ADMIN and CAP_NET_RAW inside a user and network namespace can trigger the race, exposing kernel memory, corrupting kernel state, or crashing the host.
