Kernel memory corruption via malformed Mac partition tables

Improper input validation in Linux kernel Mac partition probing allows local users to read or corrupt kernel memory via a crafted disk image. The parser trusts attacker-controlled sector sizes and entry offsets, reads entries across sector boundaries, and uses unbounded string operations on fields without guaranteed NUL termination. A low-privileged user with access to a loop or removable block device can disclose adjacent kernel memory or trigger an oops, panic, or heap corruption.
