Local kernel compromise via duplicate ODP destruction

A use-after-free in Linux kernel 5.5 through 6.13.1 allows local users with RDMA verbs access to corrupt kernel memory. The mlx5 implicit ODP invalidation path can queue free_implicit_child_mr_work twice, so the second worker dereferences a memory region already freed by the first. An unprivileged account must access /dev/infiniband/uverbs* and race prefetch faults against munmap or MADV_DONTNEED; exploitation can expose or modify kernel memory or hang the host.
