Resource exhaustion in go-git before 5.13.0 allows remote attackers controlling a Git server to interrupt client operations. The project has not disclosed the response field, parser, or unchecked allocation responsible for consuming client resources. Exploitation requires a go-git application to communicate with an attacker-controlled or compromised Git server, after which the crafted reply can exhaust resources and interrupt that client process.
