CVE-2025-21575Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via undisclosed parser flaw

Published Apr 15, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Resource exhaustion in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster affected releases allows remote authenticated users to crash or hang services. Oracle identifies the affected loci as Server: Parser and Cluster: General but has not published the malformed input or incorrect parser operation. Low-privileged network access through the MySQL or cluster protocols is required, and successful attacks cause only a hang or frequently repeatable crash.

Exploitability

Present is not the same as exploitable

Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
