Authenticated database service hang or crash
Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster allows remote authenticated users to hang or repeatedly crash database services. Oracle identifies InnoDB and Cluster General as the affected components but has not published the resource operation or triggering input. High-privilege network access is required; affected Server branches end at 8.0.40, 8.4.3, and 9.1.0, while Cluster also includes 7.6.32.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
