CVE-2025-21520

Partial database data disclosure to privileged local users

Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Incorrect permission assignment in Oracle MySQL Server and MySQL Cluster allows local users to read a subset of accessible database data. Oracle identifies the affected loci only as Server: Options and Cluster: General and has not published the critical resource, permission setting, or triggering input involved. Exploitation requires high privileges on the host and interaction by another person, and the reported consequence is limited to partial data disclosure.
