CVE-2025-21509Network attack vector

Authenticated service hang or repeatable crash

Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Jan 23, 2025

Denial of service in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools before 9.2.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to cause a hang or crash via HTTP. Oracle identifies Web Runtime SEC as the affected component but has not published the request path, input field, or processing error that triggers the failure. Low-privileged credentials and network access to the HTTP service are required; successful exploitation interrupts availability through a hang or frequently repeatable crash.
