CVE-2025-21485

Memory corruption via raced FastRPC IOCTL processing

Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Memory corruption in FastRPC on affected Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users with low privileges to corrupt device memory. Qualcomm identifies a time-of-check/time-of-use race in INIT and multimode invoke IOCTL processing but does not name the raced resource or exact unsafe access. Access to the local FastRPC device interface is required, and the published record does not establish whether corruption causes code execution, data access, data alteration, or a crash.
