CVE-2025-2148Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Process crash via unchecked None tuple value

Published Mar 10, 2025 · Updated Mar 10, 2025

Memory corruption in PyTorch 2.6.0+cu124 allows context-dependent attackers to crash a Python process through a crafted tuple. The internal torch.ops.profiler._call_end_callbacks_on_jit_fut operation does not reject a None tuple value before callback handling; the demonstrated call ends in a segmentation fault. Reachability requires application code to pass attacker-controlled values to this internal profiler operation, and no standalone network interface is documented.
