Memory corruption via unauthorized GPU micronode commands
Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Qualcomm Snapdragon Graphics allows local users to corrupt memory through unauthorized GPU micronode commands. The GPU micronode accepts and executes a specific command sequence without the required authorization, corrupting memory across its trust boundary. Local execution and user interaction are required; successful exploitation permits code execution in the GPU micronode and corruption outside the caller's security scope.
