CVE-2025-21472

Local information disclosure via logged eSE messages

Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025

Information disclosure in Qualcomm Snapdragon eSE firmware allows local users to read sensitive data from captured device logs. The secure-element component leaves debug-message logging enabled, causing eSE debug content to be written into logs during capture. Low-privilege local access and an active log-capture path are required; Qualcomm has not disclosed which data fields can be exposed.
