CVE-2025-21457

Local information disclosure via unsanitized FastRPC domain

Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025

A buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon firmware allows local users to disclose information by opening a FastRPC session. The session-opening path fails to sanitize the supplied domain before using it, causing reads beyond the intended buffer boundary. Low-privileged local access is required, and exploitation exposes memory contents and interrupts service.
