CVE-2025-21447

Local memory corruption via session-control IOCTL

Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon session control allows local users with low privileges to compromise device memory through an IOCTL call. The device I/O control path accepts an improperly validated array index, but Qualcomm does not disclose the affected function or buffer. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and no user interaction; Qualcomm has not disclosed whether corruption yields a crash, data access, or code execution.
