CVE-2025-21443

Memory corruption via unchecked eAVB message copy

Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Classic buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon automotive firmware allows local users to corrupt memory while processing eAVB message content. The eAVB message-processing path copies input without verifying that it fits the destination buffer, so adjacent memory is overwritten. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access; Qualcomm has not published the concrete post-corruption behavior or whether the flaw causes code execution or a crash.
